Huge Snowfall in Catskills

It started snowing in the Catskills last evening around 5pm. I cleared the steps twice within two hours to no avail. At 2am it was snowing so hard, I couldn't see more than 15 feet outside the window. Thank goodness I was inside. This morning Belleayre Mountain reported 18 " of fresh snow. All the lifts are running; 33 trails are open!

Guests at the Breezy Hill Inn were so eager to get to the slopes early, they were cleaning their cars at 7am as the snow continued to fall. At our Catskills B & B today we served a breakfast of fresh pineapple and berries, croissants followed by a cheese and chives omelet with toast. Immediately thereafter, they were off to hit the slopes.

We are open and ready for the season. We have reservations and some vacancy. Stay at Breezy Hill Inn and you be eligible for vouchers for discount lift tickets at Belleayre Mountain where they are blowing snow! I was up at the mountain yesterday. There were three trails open and my friends Joe and Tom said the skiing was great.
